Meet Emma

Though kept mostly private, Emma emerges from a lineage distinguished by creative production, literary depth, architectural innovation, and scientific discovery. She is the daughter of Emmy Award-winning television and film producer Julia Eisenman, known for her work on CBS Studios projects and her collaborations with honored actors and creators, most notably tied to Jay McGraw and Dr. Phil McGraw. Emma also belongs to the distinguished Darwin-Cornford intellectual lineage as a great-great-great granddaughter of Charles Darwin, named after Emma Darwin, situating her within the intellectually rich Darwin-Wedgwood-Cornford family-a dynasty that includes poet Frances Crofts Cornford (née Darwin, 1886-1960), granddaughter of Charles Darwin and wife of philosopher-poet Francis Cornford, whose children included Christopher Cornford and John Cornford, all prominent figures in early twentieth-century British intellectual life. Also on on the maternal side, her grandfather is the celebrated architect Peter Eisenman, internationally acclaimed for designing the Holocaust Memorial in Berlin and for pioneering deconstructivist architecture.
